Honest Review – Hallmark Countdown To Christmas Premiere Of ‘Sealed With A List’. This movie is one I did not have high hopes for. The previews didn’t get me excited but I sat to watch it last night. This was the last premiere movie for this weekend. I will admit that after ten minutes, I was checked out. I even turned to my husband and said, “You can’t win them all.” I was wrong.

Carley Kincaid has spent far too long in a dead-end job, and year after year ponders the previous year’s list of uncompleted New Year’s resolutions. So, when life throws her a curveball, she enlists the aid of an unlikely accomplice to make some changes. Katie Findlay and Evan Roderick star in ‘Sealed with a List.

A year ago, Carley (Findlay) told her best friend Jamie that another year would not go by without making some life changes and she even created a New Year’s resolution checklist. Of course, she does none of these over the course of the year until she hears that Jamie is coming home for Christmas.

So, when she’s passed over for a promotion she’s more than qualified for, in favor of her boss’ son Wyatt (Roderick), Carley seizes the opportunity and quits.

After revisiting last year’s list, she gives herself 31 days to complete everything on it. Disinterested in anything other than his trust fund, Wyatt proves he’s completely wrong for the position and tries making amends. Realizing his carefree approach to life might be what she needs to get on with hers, Carley makes the surprising decision to enlist his aid.

With Wyatt now cut off by Daddy till he proves himself, the two strike a deal – she’ll teach him independence, while he’ll help her move out of her responsible comfort zone. As the pair whittles down her list, Carley begins to realize her initial opinion of Wyatt may have been off the mark. With her new-found confidence and his newly formed independence, these two complete opposites may strike the perfect balance.

I will be the first to admit that I wasn’t sold on this going in and the first 10 minutes are rough. Then I found myself rooting for Carley and Wyatt and feeling very invested in how each of them grew individually and then of course together. This is a definite watch from me. Furthermore, this should be a watch for any fan of Hallmark Christmas movies.
