Honest Review – ‘Friends And Family Christmas’ on Hallmark Channel. Last night, Friends & Family Christmas’ premiered as part of Hallmark’s Countdown To Christmas. This is the story of two women who decide to fake date to appease their parents and fulfill Christmas obligations and of course, find love just in time for Christmas.
I love that the Hallmark Channel is bringing more modern stories into the lineup. The women brought a youthfulness and sense of fun that was contagious. The chemistry between Amelia and Daniela was fun.

Dani (Humberly González) is an aspiring artist, who recently moved to New York to pursue a career and can’t wait to celebrate Christmas week with her circle of artist friends. Together, they’re putting on several fundraising events for their artists’ lab, which leaves Dani too busy to go home for the holidays. When her Christmas-crazy parents surprise her with a visit, in hopes of reliving all the Christmas traditions she grew up with, Dani finds herself torn.
Her parents are even trying to fix her up with their friend’s daughter Amelia (Ali Liebert), a hard-driven lawyer, whose father is just as eager for her to find love. To appease both of their parents and help Amelia impress partners at her firm, Dani and Amelia decide to pretend the setup worked and fake a relationship for the holidays.
With each date, their connection begins to feel more real. However, when an opportunity opens up for Dani, things fall apart before either admits that the romance has become genuine. With help from her family and her friends, Dani decides to do something big to prove her feelings and win Amelia back!
