The 81st Golden Globes Winners and More. Last night at the Beverly Hills Hilton, the awards were handed out for achievements in Film and Television. There were winners and losers and talked about moments and fashion.

For Golden Globes Host Jo Koy, the evening started out awkward. He seemed unprepared and uncomfortable. He would make jokes that fell flat and he knew it. He kept apologizing saying that he wrote some jokes and did not write others. It was, as I said, uncomfortable. There were other exchanges with presenters that also clearly fell flat and were not great jokes. He did mention that he just got the gig 10 days prior.

This was a big night predictably for “Oppenheimer.” Going into award season, we all knew this would be the one to beat. It looked like this would be the season of “Oppenheimer” and “Barbie.” This was not the case for “Barbie”, which only won two of the nine nominated awards. “Poor Things” took the ball and ran with it.
