Festival of the Arts Favorite Interactive ‘Spin Art’ Moves Indoors for 2024. This past Friday, the Epcot International Festival of the Arts 2024 opened. We were there all day, and the next day checking out all the changes. Besides, eating the new offerings around World Showcase, and exploring the updated sidewalk chalk, along with having fun with the new Photopass, we checked out new locations of past experiences and booths.

One of the major changes from past years of the Arts Festival is the interactive art experience Spin Art. Where you and another person work in tandem to create your own work of art. If you are solo a Cast Member is on hand to help you.

Spin Art is exactly what the name says, it is a canvas put into a centrifugal force machine and you add paint drops to the canvas while it spins. The way you create the spinning is on a stationary bicycle, pedaling the front wheel that is connected to a drum. The drum spins slow or fast depending on how fast or slow you pedal the bike.

For a single person, the experience is $19.00, and a cast member will pedal while you add paint to the canvas. If you work with another person in your party, you can swap positions and do the experience for $30.00.

If you would like to have the artwork framed it is an additional $10.00.

In past festivals we have found Spin Art outdoors, one year close to the Sub Continental Africa section of World Showcase, and other years it was located next to to Pin Traders.

This year, Figment’s Inspiration Station at the Odyssey: Art, Food, and Little Sparks of Magic is the home of Spin Art. Furthermore, it is the home of Sand Art and Name as a Work of Art.

We are not imagining things, this will mark the second year of one of the coolest and most magical pavilions during the year at the Odyssey building. Last year Disney introduced us to the Inspiration Station at the Odyssey: Art, Food, and Little Sparks of Magic.

Filled with throwbacks to the original Imagination Pavilion! From seeing Dreamfinder along with Figment, Dreamfinders Airship, and now Interactive Art.
