What a thrill it is to see Hugh Jackman returning the the X-Men role of Wolverine, which he hasn’t played the role since the 2017 20th Century Fox Movie Logan.

Marvel’s dynamic duo of frenemies reunite on the big screen once again as Hugh Jackman dons the claws of Wolverine in the much-anticipated Deadpool 3 trailer, unveiled on Super Bowl Sunday. The teaser not only unveils Jackman’s return but also unveils the official title of the film as Deadpool & Wolverine, showcasing how the irreverent Merc with a Mouth is making his mark in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with an R-rated flair.
The trailer introduces members of the Time Variance Authority, the organization from the multiverse, first seen in the Disney+ series Loki, as they hunt down Ryan Reynolds’ Wade Wilson.
“Wade, you’re something special. This is your moment to shine among the heroes,” says Matthew Macfadyen’s enigmatic TVA character.
“I’m picking up what you’re putting down, sensei,” Wade quips. “Your little cinematic universe is in for a wild ride. I’m the messiah. I…am…Marvel Jesus.”
