What Rides are Coming to Epic Universal in 2025? Five Immersive Worlds. One Amazing Theme Park. Get ready. In 2025, the Universal Epic Universe will change everything. Explore astounding worlds beyond anything you’ve experienced before.
With the announcement last week from Universal about all the lands coming to Epic Universal, including Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ — Ministry of Magic™, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™, How to Train Your Dragon — the Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe, we now have an official idea of what’s coming.
What we do not know is exactly how many rides and attractions will be opening up with the new Park, but we can put together information from patents, and/or overhead images of the park, and what Universal has announced already. So let us break it down.

We think there are going to be 11 rides. Two in Celestial Park, three in Super Nintendo World, two in Dark Universe, 1 in Ministry of Magic, and three in How to Train Your Dragon Land.
Celestial Park:
Step into a lush, green world where thrills, entertainment, dining, and shopping lead all who enter on an exhilarating journey of discovery.

Starfall Racers: Ride a Shooting Star Across the Cosmos
Share a race across the cosmos on Starfall Racers, a breathtaking, dual-launch coaster reaching incredible speeds up to 62 mph. Board a comet and rocket to the furthest reaches of the stars, at heights up to 133 feet along 5,000 feet of track. Race along an inverted crisscross, known as the “Celestial Spin” in a dazzling display of blazing colors and ethereal music.
Constellation Carousel: Discover a New Spin on Carousels
Climb aboard this imaginative carousel where the cosmic energy of the universe enables guests to ride the constellations themselves. Guest carriages include celestial lions, dragons, peacocks and more. Each carriage turns 360 degrees while lifting riders up to 6 feet in the air. Celestial music and color dazzle your senses as you whirl and twirl together across the Milky Way.
SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™
At SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™ you’ll experience a new way to play, from challenging Bowser on the Mario Kart™ ride to venturing through Donkey Kong Country™ and so much more.

Mine Cart Madness –
Not much can be shared about Mine Cart Madness, the first one is due to open in Universal in Japan in 2024. There is apparently a new patent involved with the way the cart is held onto the track, so it will appear that while on the ride the track breaks and the cart jumps over the broken portions.
“The fun starts when you get blasted out of a barrel cannon at the Golden Temple! Hop into a mine cart and go for a thrilling ride through the jungle! You’ll even leap across a collapsed track! This series of unpredictable thrills will make you scream with excitement! Join Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong in this race through the jungle on a wild adventure to protect the Golden Banana from the Tiki Tak Tribe!”
Dark Universe:
From the experiments of Dr. Victoria Frankenstein to a shadowy landscape where monsters roam, Dark Universe is a world of myth and mystery.
Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment. Housed inside a sprawling gothic manor, Monsters: Unchained is reported to be a dark ride starring all of Universal’s classic monsters.
Curse of the Werewolf
A spinning coaster located in the Dark Universe. Each train will be made up of five cars each holding four riders and look to be white and black in color. The roller coaster is set to feature multiple launches and spinning cars.
The Wizard World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic:
From 1920s Paris to the 1990s British Ministry, explore international wizarding communities and the magic that connects them in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ – Ministry of Magic™.
Universal Orlando has yet to publicly disclose specifics about the main attraction of this area. However, based on permits and information that has surfaced unofficially, it appears that visitors will embark on a journey through the Floo Network of fireplaces, riding in vehicles reminiscent of those featured in Islands of Adventure’s The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man.
How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk
Take to the skies and soar with dragons as you explore the colorful Viking village at the heart of Berk. Take part in wild boat battles, feast like a Viking, and more.
Hiccup’s Wing Gliders
The centerpiece ride for How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk is Hiccup’s Wing Gliders, a family coaster.
Dragon Racer’s Rally
This attraction is set to utilize a Sky Fly ride system which resembles a flat, spinner-style ride but does so much more.
Fyre Drill
Fyre Drill is a Viking-style boat ride armed with water shooters that allow guests to aim at targets and other boats.
So that is 11 rides so far announced. We cannot wait for Universal to keep announcing everything coming to Epic.
