“Happy Valentine’s Day from Marvel’s First Family! Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn are The Fantastic Four. Marvel Studios’ #TheFantasticFour, in theaters July 25, 2025.”

Up until this point, the Fantastic Four hadn’t joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film rights were held by 20th Century Fox, leading to the production of three movies featuring the characters: “Fantastic Four” in 2005, and “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer” in 2007.

The MCU got its first peek at Reed Richards in 2022’s “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” when John Krasinski played a multiverse variant of the character in a cameo, as a nod to an online fan campaign to cast him in the role.
