Fathom Events Special Presentation Of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete. February 21 and 22, 2024 select theaters will show Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete for the first time in American cinemas.
We’re incredibly excited for this rerelease to hit theaters courtesy of Fathom Events as American fans never got the chance to upon the film’s original 2005 release or 2009 director’s cut. This movie is great for fans of the original PSOne classic as well as new fans of the 2020 Remake as we get to see the continued story of Cloud and his allies. The movie boasts an emotional soundtrack, visuals unthinkable for the era they were made in, and fight choreography that’ll get any action fan’s blood pumping.
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete takes place two years after the ending of the original game, as a trio of mysterious men begin terrorizing the world and targeting Cloud, who’s been dealing with the lingering effects of the people he’s lost and isolated himself. His longtime friend Tifa has to rouse him to fight to save the world once more, both from the new villains and a disease that’s rapidly spread throughout the population, and all of it comes back to one man: Sephiroth.
This release marks the first time the beloved director’s cut will be given a theatrical run. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to their showings for exclusive introductory content, including a history of FINAL FANTASY VII and its connection to FINAL FANTASY VII ADVENT CHILDREN, in particular.
