Hallmark Channel Updates ‘The Way Home’ Fans On It’s Future. Ponderers, this is the news we have all been hanging on to get. It’s official, the Landry Family will be back.
Hallmark Channel announced via social media today that it has officially renewed the increasingly popular television series, The Way Home. Yes, Season 3 is a go. We are going back to Port Haven and the Pond.

‘The Way Home’ is a multigenerational family drama centering on the Landry family told creatively through the use of time travel, which serves as a tool for the characters to learn the truth about the tragic events in their family’s history. Because of the time spent in the past, Alice (Sadie Laflamme-Snow), Kat (Chyler Leigh) and Del (Andie MacDowell) are ultimately able to better understand each other and help them heal.
As we are getting ready for the last two episodes of Season 2, we know that Kat and Alice are still time traveling. We know that Kat has reunited with Jacob in 1814. Will Jacob come back to the present and would would that look like? Would he be willing to leave Suzanna, Thomas, and Elijah to see his mom again? Hopefully, we get some answers on that over the next two weeks. And sidebar, what’s up with Nick and what is the deal with Casey Goodwin? Where is she? I can’t wait to see the next two episodes.
Spoilers ahead…what is going to happen now that Nick has found Elliot’s notebook? Will he understand that his beloved Alice in 1999 is really Kat’s teenage daughter in 2024? What happened in the aftermath of the Lingermore party? So many questions.
Will Del accept Sam and his relationship? Poor Del. She has more tragedy than anyone should have had to endure. We should start a hashtag to let her heal. I’d love to see Del have some happiness. It’s nice to see her develop the relationship with Alice but let’s get her and Kat to heal.
So there you have it, Ponderers. Season 3 is officially greenlit and we are getting more Landry, Augustine, and Goodwin fun. Where will the pond take us next????
