What Does Travis Kelce and Us Have In Common? We Are Hallmark Fans. It’s well known that we, at the FUNatics Blog (specifically me), are Hallmark Channel fans. Fun fact, I am also a Travis Kelce fan due to the extremely entertaining podcast that he does with his big brother, Jason.
Today, on the New Heights podcast, Travis and Jason talked to comedian Andrew Santino. In the conversation, they were discussing the Lindsay Lohan Netflix film, Irish Wish. Santino says that his wife is a big Hallmark fan. He turns to Travis and asks, “Are you a Hallmark guy, Trav?”
Travis smiles and says, “I dabble now, yeah.” This begs us to ask. Is Taylor Swift a Hallmark channel fan who has turned Travis onto the content? That’s what a lot of fans on social media are assuming.
Santino follows up with, “Well, you like the cards, so you might as well like the movies.” Travis said he was a “huge fan.” He notes that Hallmark is a Kansas City-based company.
Kelce then admitted he was a “huge fan,” while noting that Hallmark is a “Kansas City-based company.” This prompted Santino to question him on whether he was sure of that.
“I mean, I’ve been there for f—— 11 years. I see it all the time,” he joked. Fact-checking this prompted us to find out a bit about the company. The Hallmark card company was started in Kansas City, MO in 1910. The company was founded by Joyce C. Hall.
Travis is proud of his city. He’s been with the Kansas City Chiefs since 2013. He has won three Super Bowls with the team. Earlier this year, Hallmark Channel made a Kansas City Chiefs short starring Tyler Hynes and Janel Parrish.
