Lacey Chabert Is Taking Christmas To Netflix This Year With New Movie. We learned yesterday that Lacey Chabert is taking Christmas to Netflix along with Hallmark Channel.
Lacey announced on her Instagram that she would be starring in Hot Frosty. This will be about Chabert playing Cathy, a widow who brings a snowman to life after losing her husband. The official tagline of the movie is “Through his naïveté, the snowman helps Cathy to laugh, feel and love again, as the two fall for each other just in time for the holidays … and before he melts.”
Joinng Lacey in the cast is Dustin Milligan from Schitt’s Creek, as well as Chrishell Strause, Joe Lo Truglio, Craig Robinson, Katy Mixon, and Lauren Holly. Jerry Ciccoritti will direct the film and the script is from from writer Russell Hainline.
Hot Frosty will be joining Netflix streaming services’ 2024 Holiday lineup of romcoms. This will be in addition to Lindsay Lohan’s Our Little Secret and Christina Millian’s Meet Me Next Christmas.

Chabert’s costar Strause, 42, quickly took to the comments section to gush over getting to film with the actress. “You are the sweetest-Hope to work again together in the future 🥰.” she wrote, to which Chabert, replied, “It was so lovely to meet you and work together! 💜.”
Fear Not my Hallmark friends, this doesn’t mean Lacey is leaving the Hallmark Channel. She is starring in this year’s The Christmas Quest with costar Kristoffer Polaha. She will also have an unscripted series called Celebrations with Lacey Chabert. In this she will gather a team to plan surprise parties to give back to people who make impacts in the their communities. The 10 episode show that she is the executive producer on will air on Hallmark Movies Now streaming service in late 2024.
