New Lunch Bento Boxes at Morimoto Asia Disney Springs For Locals and Travelers. Bento boxes, originally from Japan, have become popular in America for their convenient and diverse meal options. These compartmentalized containers, traditionally used for packed meals, now reflect a mix of Japanese style and American tastes. People love bento boxes for quick, balanced meals on the move.

On a personal note, we love bento boxes. Since we are in Disney Springs during the early afternoon we plan to try the new menu items ourselves. Furthermore, if you have not had a chance to try them in the next few days we plan to have a review up.

Dine in Modern Pan-Asian Style

Feast your eyes and senses on the newest flagship restaurant at Disney Springs—Morimoto Asia.

Japanese master chef Masaharu Morimoto is acknowledged as one of the most inventive forces in Asian cuisine, and he has chosen The Landing at Disney Springs as the venue for his very first “Pan-Asian” restaurant.

Morimoto Asia offers an entirely new dining experience for Guests, including unique exhibition kitchens that provide behind-the-scenes views into traditions like Peking duck carving and dim sum. The restaurant’s massive, 2-story interior includes glittering 20-foot-long chandeliers, Shanghai-influenced lounges, private dining spaces and a second-level sushi bar and lounge.

The scale and artistry of this signature dining location is a visual delight—but wait until you taste the food!

A Culinary Journey Across Asia

Morimoto’s take on Chinese, Japanese and Korean dishes creates an unforgettable dining experience.

At Morimoto Asia, the menu is as richly enchanting as the venue itself. Begin your “journey” with poke salad, and then enjoy a generous helping of red miso-glazed Faroe Island salmon. And be sure you don’t say sayonara until you’ve tried the Oreo Tempura dessert!

Chef Morimoto is acknowledged as one of the most inventive forces in Asian cuisine, and he has creatively reimagined a showcase of Asian flavors and traditions. Choose from Japanese favorites like sushi, sashimi and the succulent Kakuni Bao or Chinese classics like crispy Peking duck carving (served boneless with Chinese pancakes and dim sum), plus Korean and Malay specialties—even some dishes inspired by Asian street-food stalls!

Delicious specialty wines and cocktails like the Morimoto Signature Aged Sake help Morimoto Asia “raise the bar” on unforgettable Asian dining. The restaurant’s sake list is extensive—available by the glass, carafe or bottle—and the suggested beer pairings include 2 of Morimoto’s own specialty beers.
