Image Update Blue Ribbon Corn Dog & Cake Bake Shop on Disney’s Boardwalk. Still no opening date announced for either one of the new foodie spots coming to Disney’s Boardwalk, but we have some updated images on the construction progress.
Let’s start at Blue Ribbon Corn Dog, which we are super excited for. We cannot wait to get our hands on the Pickle Stuffed Corn Dog! Anyway, the building looks 90% finished. The main signage and marquee is the only thing that appears to be missing.
Blue Ribbon has to be close to opening, seating has been added to the Boardwalk on the left side when looking at the front of the quick service.
It’s hard to go wrong with a classic Disneyland corn dog, but you can pick up some unique twists on the treat at Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs. Aside from the original, guests can also try a Golden Dragon Panko-Crusted Corn Dog—and keep an eye out for even more offerings like their limited-time Pickle Corn Dog and Giant Mozzarella Stick!
Over at The Cake Bake Shop Bakery by Gwendolyn Rogers all the windows are installed, and the roofing is almost finished.
Recently they shared a few images from inside the construction with a mystery saying” can you guess what these are” type of post. But it has been removed since we saw it a month ago.
The entrance and signage are still being installed along with the siding of the building. The new roof octagon looks great and there will be plenty of natural light while dining inside.
They have built out the old entrance to the ESPN zone and it looks like those walls are almost finished.
