Disney+ Easter 2024 Movies and Shows The Whole Family Can Watch. If you celebrate Easter because you love dyed eggs, candy, and a giant rabbit names Peter Cottontail, or if you believe Easter is Jesus Christ’s triumph over death, and his resurrection means that eternal life will be granted to all those who believe in Him, you are both right.

For almost everyone, Easter is a time for family, a time to look ahead at the spring. A renewal of things. We have the perfect Easter and Spring Disney+ list of our favorite shows and movies to watch on Easter.

Truthfully, The Ten Commandments should be #1 on this list, considering it gets played on ABC television, which Disney owns. For some reason it is not available on Disney+. So we will let that slide and say you should just go find a way to own The Ten Commandments either streaming or physical copy.

So these are not in a particular order. None are better or worse than the other. But since there are 10, we did number them to make it easier to follow along. Not that 10 is hard to follow along, but you may remember a selection at a certain number and want to click the link to watch that one.

#1 JESUS: HIS LIFE – For those that Believe this is one of the better accounts of His life. Just added when Hulu was added to Disney+ recently.

#2 WINNIE THE POOH: SPRINGTIME WITH ROO

Disney’s classic tradition of great storytelling continues with the all-new, full-length feature, WINNIE THE POOH: SPRINGTIME WITH ROO. This delightful tale stars all your friends including Winnie The Pooh and his little pal, Roo. Every year Rabbit plays Easter bunny. But not this year. No bunny means no hunny for Pooh, no Eastery egg hunt for Tigger, no basket for Piglet, no fluffy bunny ears for Eeyore — and no fun for Roo.

Rabbit expects them all to spring into action: scrubbing, dusting, sweeping, and mopping instead! But Roo’s love and wisdom show Rabbit that special days are to be shared in special ways. Blooming with beloved characters, memorable songs, spirit, and hope, WINNIE THE POOH: SPRINGTIME WITH ROO will delight and inspire one and all every day of the year!

#4 Burrow – A Spark Short

In Disney and Pixar’s new short film “Burrow,” a young rabbit embarks on a journey to dig the burrow of her dreams, despite not having a clue what she’s doing. Rather than reveal to her neighbors her imperfections, she digs herself deeper and deeper into trouble. After hitting (bed)rock bottom, she learns there is no shame in asking for help.

#7 Goddess of Spring, The

Goddess of Spring, The (film) Silly Symphony cartoon; released on November 3, 1934. Directed by Wilfred Jackson. One of Disney’s early attempts at human animation. The goddess Persephone is captured by the devil as his bride and sent to the underworld, with the agreement to return to earth six months each year. While the animation of the goddess was unrealistic, it did give the animators some early practice for eventually animating another young lady, Snow White.

#8 Bambi

In the heart of the forest, Bambi takes his first wobbly steps and sets out to explore his new world with his friends: a lovable rabbit called Thumper and a bashful skunk named Flower. Their adventures together include skating on “stiff” water, frolicking through the woods and getting acquainted with all the other intriguing inhabitants of the forest. But that is only part of the story. Guided by the wise Friend Owl, the young prince also learns valuable lessons about love, loss, and life.

#9 The Simpsons – The Red Hat Ladies

For no other reason than the fight between Homer and a guy dressed in a Bunny suit who is the referee for a kids easter egg hunt. I think the characters name is something like Hugs Bunny. This episode is stupid funny. There are probably 7 other decent Easter episodes of The Simpsons, so really anyone of them will do for Easter 2024 on Disney+.

Finally we have reached the tenth spot. Which happens to be one of my favorites on the list. I love the new animated style of the new Mickey Mouse shorts. I also love the slapstick comedy. It reminds me of classic Three Stooges and Warner Bros cartoons of old. Think Bugs Bunny, but done by Disney.

#10 The Wonderful Spring of Mickey Mouse

Mickey Mouse and his friends explore the promise of the spring season through the lens of a unique nature documentary.
