Magic Kingdom has the 2024 Easter Parade happening before Festival of Fantasy 2 times today. There are egg hunts normally on the lawn, and a special Easter Bunny meet and greet. Furthermore each resort has its own special events.
Every resort will have a special Easter snack or treat or drink available for purchase, and if you have little ones with you, Easter baskets for sale. Below you can see the daily schedule for Port Orleans Riverside.
While visiting POR we had to try the new Thumper Carrot Cake. Carrot cake is a weakness of ours, so every chance we get to try one we will dive icing deep if we can. Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Icing, with a chocolate Thumper Medallion – $6.29
Overall the cake was moist and tasted delicious. It had the nice mouthfeel and the small bits of carrot. It was very very sweet, so we could not finish it. Even though we did enjoy the flavor. The icing could have been toned down a little, at one point it felt like eating pure sugar that had been watered down with milk.
