Grab Your Manolos, Carrie and The Gang Are Coming Back For Season 3 of ‘And Just Like That’. Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis are back in the City for round 3 of the ‘Sex & The City’ spinoff.
Sarah Jessica Parker took to her Instagram to share the news that they are back to work with a picture of her name card and some scripts for season 3. The hit HBO/Max show was renewed after the conclusion of season 2 last year.
Over the hiatus, we did learn that some members of the cast would not be back and we got a look at who is coming in this year. Sarah Ramirez who played Che Diaz on the first two seasons will not be returning for season 3. Also not returning is Karen Pittman. Karen played Nya Wallace, Miranda’s professor/friend/roommate. She has said that she has a scheduling conflict.
At the end of Season 2, we did see Kim Cattrall in a small cameo appearance as Samantha Jones. It does not look like Samantha will be back in any capacity this go around. We could get into the whys and the gossip but let’s leave it alone. It’s been tabloid fodder for many years and I don’t believe that this website is the place for that.
Joining this season is Rosie O’Donnell. Rosie posted to her Instagram that she is joining the cast as “Mary.” We have no clue how that character will be introduced but the comedian/actor also shared a photo in the wig for the part.
As a woman in my late 40’s, this is my show. I loved watching the OG, ‘Sex & The City’ and when this show came about in 2023 I was all in. To see my old favorites return was pure joy. I haven’t been disappointed by this new show. I love to see how the characters have moved into this part of life. With kids that are almost grown, new friendships, old friendships, new loves and old loves, death and even a cat. It’s been good for my soul.
While the cast and crew just started back into the show, we know it will not come out until sometime in 2025. Let’s grab a Cosmo and have ourselves a rewatch!
